Finding
Easy Ways to Save
Saving money doesn’t have to be painful. There are
some simple methods to get started. Consider taking at least
one of the following steps:
- Put $1 a day, plus pocket change, into
a can or jar. At the end of the month, you’ll have
about $50, or around $600 in one year. Save $2 a day, plus
pocket change, and you’ll save more than $1,000 in
a year.
- If you have a job, find out if you can
put part of your paycheck automatically into a savings
account. What we don’t see we often don’t miss.
- Put a refund, raise, or bonus into savings.
These are just a few ideas. You probably have a few ideas of your own that
you can use to complete a Spending
Decisions worksheet.
