Where does all your income come from? List everything. Do you get public assistance? Social Security? Child support? Do you have a job or do odd jobs? Refer to your pay stubs, checkbook register, and other income documentation to complete this worksheet. If your income varies, keep track of it for three to six months. Then, to determine your average monthly income, divide your total income for the time period by the number of months involved. For example, if your total income for three months is $4,050, divide $4,050 by three. Your average monthly income is $1,350.
